Slack integration helps your team stay on top of what’s happening in Revisit — by sending session alerts and digests to a channel, and letting you search sessions directly from Slack.
What you can do
- Send session alerts to Slack (for important events and signals).
- Send daily/weekly digests so your team can review patterns quickly.
- Search sessions from Slack using the /revisit command.
Step 1: Connect Slack
- Open your Revisit project.
- Go to Project Settings → Integrations.
- Under Slack, click Connect to Slack.
- Choose your Slack workspace and approve the connection.
Step 2: Choose a default channel
- In the Slack integration settings, pick a Default Channel.
- Click Save.
- (Optional) Use Send Test Alert to confirm everything is working.
Step 3: Enable the notifications you want
In the Slack integration settings, turn on the alerts and digests that fit your team’s workflow.
- Session Alerts: real‑time notifications when something important happens.
- Digests: daily/weekly summaries for quick review.
Using Slack commands
Once Slack is connected, you can use the /revisit command in Slack.
/revisit help — show the available commands./revisit stats — show today’s session stats for the project./revisit search checkout error — search for sessions./revisit session <id> — pull details for a specific session.
