Slack

Slack integration helps your team stay on top of what’s happening in Revisit — by sending session alerts and digests to a channel, and letting you search sessions directly from Slack.

What you can do

  • Send session alerts to Slack (for important events and signals).
  • Send daily/weekly digests so your team can review patterns quickly.
  • Search sessions from Slack using the /revisit command.

Step 1: Connect Slack

  1. Open your Revisit project.
  2. Go to Project Settings → Integrations.
  3. Under Slack, click Connect to Slack.
  4. Choose your Slack workspace and approve the connection.

Step 2: Choose a default channel

  1. In the Slack integration settings, pick a Default Channel.
  2. Click Save.
  3. (Optional) Use Send Test Alert to confirm everything is working.

Step 3: Enable the notifications you want

In the Slack integration settings, turn on the alerts and digests that fit your team’s workflow.

  • Session Alerts: real‑time notifications when something important happens.
  • Digests: daily/weekly summaries for quick review.

Using Slack commands

Once Slack is connected, you can use the /revisit command in Slack.

  • /revisit help — show the available commands.
  • /revisit stats — show today’s session stats for the project.
  • /revisit search checkout error — search for sessions.
  • /revisit session <id> — pull details for a specific session.
